Ryan Craynon
VP, Strategic Accounts
Ryan Craynon, PharmD, MS, is vice president of strategic accounts for Visante where he leads managed services partnerships to ensure success for our clients across all pharmacy settings. He brings extensive health-system pharmacy leadership experience across patient care settings and a track record for leadership development to Visante.
Before joining Visante, he served as the Director of Pharmacy Operations for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC), overseeing all aspects of inpatient, infusion, and clinic operations. In this role, he provided operational leadership for seven separate pharmacies ensuring exceptional patient care. He has extensive experience in operations, automation and technology, consolidated service centers, transitions of care, career advancement, and staff development.
Ryan earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) from the University of Cincinnati and completed a two-year health system pharmacy administration and leadership residency at the University of Wisconsin Health. Additionally, he obtained his MS in pharmacy administration from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
He serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati. In 2023, Ryan and his team at Cincinnati Children’s received the ASHP Best Practices Award for their innovative technician leadership training program.
