Javon Artis, PharmD, MS, is Vice President of Strategic Accounts at Visante where he leads the implementation and growth of key client partnerships nationally. His focus on strategic oversight, seamless execution, and strong executive relationships with clients positions Visante to continue to deliver exceptional results while expanding our presence.
Javon supports clients by serving as the key contact for project success. He maintains accountability for delivering on the key performance indicators identified with our partners and leads the team responsible for standing up services.
Javon previously served as the Director of Specialty Pharmacy at Visante where he led the assessment of specialty programs, developed detailed action plans to implement best practice standards, and worked alongside clients to ensure the achievement of identified opportunities across the country. Before joining Visante, he was the Director of Specialty Pharmacy y for the Houston Methodist Health System, where he designed and built a specialty pharmacy program from scratch. During his time with the organization, Javon implemented specialty pharmacy services across the enterprise and led the program's establishment and growth of financial, clinical, operational, contractual, and regulatory oversight.
Javon earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) from Texas Southern University in Houston. He went on to complete a two-year health system pharmacy administration and leadership residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. He also completed his MS in pharmacy administration at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He is a member of the Health System Council for APhA and an adjunct professor at his alma mater.
